Now, there are only special versions left to be built.
Bugatti has confirmed that it has built the last ‘regular’ Chiron models, sending off the 1,103kW variant with a special Sur Mesure creation bound for a Canadian customer. The only remaining Chiron models to be built are the low-volume special edition variants like the Chiron Sport, Pur Sport, and Super Sport with the final Chiron to be built later this year, signifying the end of an era.
The final normal Chiron, if any of them can be considered normal, officially rolled off the production line late last year and was commissioned by Canadian-based Venture Capitalist Bilal Hydrie, who took delivery at the automaker’s Molsheim HQ in December.
The color scheme worn by this final Chiron is a Nocturne (black) base with copper accents, which Hydrie says combines Middle Eastern opulence with unparalleled elegance. The interior also featured a copper-tan hue. The car was a year in the making, with Hydrie publishing details of it just after Christmas 2022.
The final Chiron variants will be produced in the coming months, after which Bugatti will turn its attention to the W16 Mistral and track-only Bolide, and thereafter, the Chiron’s successor, which is already said to have had its design approved prior to Achim Anscheidt departing a Bugatti’s head designer in July last year.
